I studied Fashion Business and Management at London College of Fashion, and when I came back to India, I knew I wanted to build something of my own in fashion.

But the idea for Aretey actually came from getting dressed for work.

I kept feeling like there was a gap. Workwear was either too basic, too corporate, too casual, or just not worth spending that much money on for an everyday workday.

I wanted clothes that felt polished but not boring. Structured but still easy to wear. Pieces that looked good on Indian women, worked with our proportions, and actually made sense for our workdays.

That’s where Aretey started.

We make considered, tailored pieces for the way women here actually live and work. Clothes that hold their shape through the day, but don't make you feel like you're dressed for a boardroom when you're just trying to get through a Tuesday.

And we keep the collection small on purpose.

Because I don't think you need a wardrobe full of clothes to dress well. You just need the right ones.
